Week 1: In The World Of Space

I was sitting on the chair waiting for my clothes to get washed while I was reading a book about a Space . Wow, where am I? Am I in space? This is so cool, but how did I get here?
Is this a dream? So then I pinched myself to see if it was a dream. 
Ouch!!! This is not a dream, I was standing right in the middle of Venus Planet. I quickly need to jump to another planet. My feet are burning. So then I jumped to Saturn that was a little better than Venus but it could get me sick because it is very very cold. So then I just jumped on to earth - the best planet. Peep Peep went the washing machine because the clothes were washed. Was that just a dream? I said to myself.

My Holidays

On the first week of the holidays my family and I went to go watch the new Sponge Bob movie called Sponge Out Of Water.  We also ate some popcorn, the movie was 2D.  I would rate the movie a 9\10.  After the movie we went shopping, but I bought nothing because I did not want anything. Then It was time for lunch, so we went to get some McDonalds, we took it home and ate It.

It was a really fun day.

In the last week of the holidays my family and I went to Napier.  First we went to this car place called Turners Auctions.  We stayed there for a quite long time. Then we went to the beach and took some pictures of our Car because we were going to sell it on Trade me. Then we went shopping and I bought some Loom Bands because I thought to make a Loom Band Flower.  So then we shopped and It was time for lunch, so we went to Pizza Hut and ate the pizza there.   Then we went home.

I had fabulous holidays. 

Polly the Polar Bear

On Monday We had Mrs Hinde as our teacher and for writing she showed us a video about a pig called Ormie The Pig. We could write a story about any animal we wanted to so here is my story about a Polar Bear.

Polly was so hungry after her sleep she needed a good juicy fish so she started to look around in the ice. Poor Polly had to break the ice with her arm so that she could see if there were any fish. She kept on looking for a long time, finally there was a fish.

Her mother had said that since she was still a little polar bear she had to ask her mum before she could eat a fish, but Polly did not care to ask her mum, because she was too hungry and her mum was far away.

She used her arm and tried to break the ice so she could have her fish. But then there was a problem, the ice was very hard to break for Polly. Polly was going to ask her mum but she did not want to because her mum was too far away. Polly started to think of some ideas.

Number One was to get some water from the river and put it on that ice so it could melt but that was a big fail. Polly could not think of some more ideas, then she finally thought of an idea. The second idea she that she thought  was to get her friends. Her friend's names were, Holly and Molly and Jolly. They all got together and got two sticks each and they banged them so hard that they broke the sticks but the ice still did not break.

Polly was so hungry that she got her arm and just banged it on the ice and suddenly the ice broke. "Yeah!!" said her friend loudly. Polly could not believe it, so Jolly picked up the fish and she gave it to Polly.

Swimming Reflection

My Swimming Reflection
I learned how to…float on my back and turn to my front, first I learnt how to float on my back but I already knew how to float on my front.

Something I found challenging was…to swim all the way to the cone without stopping and breathing.

At the end of the year I would like to improve on…swimming all the way to the end of the pool and breathing to the side while I am swimming.

Mrs Miller, Mr Kenny or Mrs Lowe could help me by…Mr Kenny did a great job by helping me to swim and teaching me to breathe underwater.

The best part about swimming was…having a turn on the life jacket’s in the pool. Something I really liked about having the life jackets was it could make you float.

Superhero Coustme

On Friday we had a Book Character Day so that means you could dress up as a person from a story or a Superhero.  I dreesed up as a football player.  Here is a phtoto of me dressed up as a foot ball player.

My Buddies from Room 6 & 7

Today Room 12 went to Room 6 & 7 and we got learning buddies.  The teachers in Room 6 & 7 are Mrs Kelly and Mrs England.  We got to ask them questions and we wrote them on paper.  We also got to read books to them.  My book was Daivd Goes to School.  The have never read that book before.

Some of the children have got two buddies,  I have got two buddies. My two buddies are 5 years old, one of their names was Athena and the other's name was Priyanka.  Athena likes to play with her friends and Priynaka likes to play on the playground.

They are both girls.  Athena has blond and brown long Hair, Priyanka has black short hair.  Athena has brown eyes and she also has black glasses.  Priyanaka has brown eyes too just like Athena.

Athena is not shy at all, she is very funny.  Priyanka is a little bit shy and she is funny also.  Athena and Priyanka do not have brothers or sisters at this school.

Super Brook

My Superhero…

Lives in a place where nobody can ever find her. She lives in a house in the jungle, with all the animals,  no animal can hurt her because she has super Powers.

She has olive white skin and medium size black shiny hair over her eye.  She has blue shiny eyes, she has purple lips just like a purple plum.  She has a purple long sleeve t-shirt and on top of that she has a cherry pink coat.  for her leggings she has dark purple pants with a shiny yellow belt.  she has navy blue gloves and dark brown long shoes.  In her hand she has a navy purple pointy sword.  She has green aqua fluffy wings on her back.

My superheroes name is Super Brook.  She is nice to people that are good but the people that are bad and evil then she is mean to them.  She takes the bad people to jail and they have to stay there for 500 years until they will die and if they don’t die then they will have to stay there for 700 years.

Super Brook can fly up high into the sky because she is super powerful and she has green aqua fluffy wings.  She would fly up in the sky to shoot a bad person.  If somebody tries to steal money from the bank, Super Brook is so powerful that she can shoot them with her ice gun and they will be frozen.  Super Brook’s sister is Olive Rich.  Olive Rich is older than Super Brook.
